I have tried everything I could think of, plus the suggestions from this post, to get the NIC cards to work with two MS 2008 server machines running under a MS XP host. You did not say what host you were using. Jorgensen, you stated "Intel PRO/1000 MT Server does work in Server 2008". Dec 2010, 02:15 Primary OS: MS Windows XP VBox Version: OSE other Guest OSses: Win 2008 Server Entp This must be an issued of my inexperience with this product.Īny help is appreciated. How do I get the drivers working in VirtualBox? Loading drivers is not covered in the VirtualBox User Guide as far as I have looked. Without network adapters working what can I do with two virtual servers? When I use Virtual PC the drivers are installed. I have the option to browse for the driver, but where do I go? Do I need a virtual or actual driver?

Of course, I do not have the disc because this is a virtual piece of hardware. However, the program doesn't find the driver and wants the disc that came with the device. When run the guest server I get a "Found New Hardware" prompt to install driver software for my Ethernet Controller. Intel PRO/1000 T Server (Host-only adapter, VirtualBox Host-only Ethernet Adapter')
